Novi Notes Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Novi Notes does not collect any personal information. All data (notes, documents, settings) is stored locally on your Mac and is never transmitted to external servers.

2. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. This is managed under Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer has no access to this data.

3. MCP Integration (Optional)

When the MCP (Model Context Protocol) feature is enabled, data is exchanged with Claude Desktop or Claude Code through the local file system. All data is processed locally on your Mac and is never transmitted externally.

4. Permissions

• Microphone: Used for voice recording in audio blocks.
• Speech Recognition: Used for speech-to-text conversion of recordings.
• Calendar: Used to read and write macOS calendar events.

All permissions are only used when granted by the user and solely for app functionality.

5. Analytics and Advertising

Novi Notes does not use any analytics tools, advertising, or trackers.
